What Is Filtrexx SiltSoxx?

Filtrexx SiltSoxx is a three-dimensional tubular sediment control and stormwater filtration system. It consists of:

• Mesh: UV-stabilized polypropylene netting that holds the fill material in its tubular shape and allows water to pass through while retaining solids
• FilterMedia: Proprietary compost-based fill material that provides both physical filtration (particle capture) and biogeochemical filtration (dissolved pollutant adsorption)

The three-dimensional tubular form is the key engineering advantage over flat barriers. It creates a high-contact surface against the ground that prevents under-seepage, a large ponding zone upstream that promotes settling, and a consistent filter depth across the entire sock cross-section.
