The 20-mil pigmented gelcoat resists UV and weather and is integral to the shell, so it won't chalk or fade like field-painted units. Underneath, a layered fiberglass shell wrapped around a closed-cell urethane foam core (approximately R-7) protects the pump, wellhead, and pressure tank from freeze damage and the everyday abuse of being out in the yard.
The shell's weight and shape hold it in place for normal use, with anchoring kits available for high-wind or exposed sites. Snap-tight construction means no fasteners are required for routine service — lift it off, work the pump, set it back down. Four sizes cover everything from a compact pump up to larger wellhead, tank, and pump groupings.
