Sediment control socks by Filtrexx are designed to hold back sediment from sensitive areas while allowing water to flow through. The durable mesh socks are filled with material that is designed to control erosion. To conform to nearly any job site the socks are available in widths ranging from 4” to 18” and lengths from 10’ to 200’. These socks are more efficient and easier to install than straw wattles or commonly used silt fences. Additionally, the sediment control socks have been shown to capture more sediment than the traditional methods.

The sediment control socks can be installed on hillsides, swales, on the sides of channels and along drainage ditches.
