The Filtrexx® SiltSoxx™ Ditch Check Dam is a sustainable sediment control solution designed for use in ditches, swales, and small channels. Constructed from mesh netting filled with certified FilterMedia™, it slows stormwater flow, reduces bed erosion, and filters out sediment and pollutants. Unlike traditional rock or silt fence check dams, it is easier to install, requires no trenching, and can be vegetated for long-term use. Available in multiple diameters, the system is customizable for various flow conditions and can filter contaminants such as phosphorus and petroleum hydrocarbons. Made from recycled, biodegradable materials, the SiltSoxx Check Dam offers an environmentally responsible, low-maintenance alternative for stormwater management and erosion control.
