Geotex 311

Non-woven polypropylene geotextile offers excellent physical and hydraulic characteristics along with high tensile strength. These geotextiles provide superior filter features to help in preventing dirt and aggregate from clogging up drains and thereby extending their life and increase their performance.

This non-woven geotextile (GEOTEX 311) fabric is primarily used for filtration, stabilization, erosion control, and drainage. Polypropylene non-woven filter fabrics can be more effective in relation to cost and last for a longer period of time than organic fabrics including coir and straw.

As a lighter weight non-woven fabric this fabric is suited well for a wide variety of different drainage applications.

The Advantages Of These Fabrics

Both fabrics have their own unique advantages, making them ideal for different applications. Woven textiles are chosen for their low cost and high strength. Nonwoven textiles are also a popular product for use in construction.

The Benefits Of Woven Geotextile Fabric

Versatility - Due to its multipurpose design, this fabric is versatile and convenient for many different projects.
Filtration - Its filtration properties allow water to pass through without allowing the soil to enter and clog the system.
Affordable - Nonwoven drainage fabrics are more affordable than standard filtration systems.
Private Use - Nonwoven geotextiles are used for private patios and walkways as well as on public roads as an asphalt overlay.

This is a stabilization fabric made from synthetic polypropylene and is often used for drainage, filtration, erosion control, and sediment reinforcement. Nonwoven geotextile drainage fabric can be used for filtering applications as well. Because of its excellent design, the flow-through rate is very high, allowing water to pass through while retaining debris and pollutants. Nonwoven geotextile is a durable erosion control fabric made of synthetic materials for many applications.

Nonwoven geotextiles are rot-resistant, needle-punched fabrics that have high permittivity and water flow rates. Its high flow-through rate makes this fabric perfect for filtration and permanent sediment control As an example, nonwoven geotextile drainage fabric is used to make dewatering bags (the removal of water from solid material or soil) which is one of the best ways to remove sediment from water.
